Police investigate rollover crash

On March 8, 2020 at 3:12 p.m., Fort Collins Police Services was notified of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of S. College Ave. and Trilby Rd.

A 2014 Dodge Ram truck was traveling southbound on S. College Ave. At the intersection of Trilby Rd., a 2012 Honda Civic made a left turn from northbound College Ave. onto Trilby Rd. The front of the Honda Civic collided with the driver’s side of the Dodge Ram, causing the Dodge to roll over.

The 18-year-old male driver of the Dodge Ram and two passengers, a 49-year-old female and a 16-year-old-female, all from Berthoud, were transported to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The driver of the Honda, a 20-year-old female from Fort Collins, was treated and released at the scene.

The intersection of S. College Ave. and Trilby Rd. was closed for approximately 5 hours while investigators processed the scene. Police are working to determine if speed contributed to the collision.
