On February 12, 2020 at 6:06 P.M., Fort Collins Police were notified of a hit and run collision that occurred at the intersection of West Mulberry Street and South Howes Street. An adult female was in the crosswalk when she was struck by a vehicle. The female was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.

The run vehicle is described as a darker colored, possibly red, small or mid-sized SUV. If there is any damage to the vehicle, it would be on the front passenger side. The run vehicle was last seen eastbound on Mulberry Street from Howes Street.

Fort Collins Police requested that a Medina Alert be issued through the Colorado Bureau of Investigation for the run vehicle, and it was. The criteria for a Media Alert are that the incident involves a hit and run, and someone suffers serious bodily injury.

If you see the run vehicle, please contact police immediately at 911. If you have other information regarding this incident, and have not yet spoken to police, please contact Officer Ken Koski at (970) 416-2229.
