Special Collection Event at the Timberline Recycling Center Saturday, June 15

The next special recycling event at the City’s Timberline Recycling Center will be Saturday, June 15, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Fort Collins residents can bring used mattresses, box springs, fire extinguishers and documents for shredding (at a secure offsite facility).
The event will be held in the Hard-to-Recycle Yard of the Timberline Recycling Center at 1903 S. Timberline Road. There is a $5 entry fee per vehicle and additional fees to recycle certain items.
- Beds: $13 per mattress or box spring
- Shreds: Bring documents to be shredded (at a secure off-site facility). $5 per bankers box/file box (max 35 lbs). When possible, remove non-paper notebooks, 3-ring binders, binder clips etc.
- Fire Extinguishers: No additional cost beyond the $5 entry fee
During the event, the Timberline Recycling Center will be open for regular business, accepting bulky plastics, batteries, antifreeze, paint, yard debris, and other recyclable materials.
