The City of Fort Collins Planning Department invites the community to learn about a proposed amendment to the "Harmony Corridor Plan" for the west side of the Harmony Road interchange at I-25. A public meeting will be held Tuesday, May 22 at 6:30 p.m. at the Council Tree Library, 2633 Council Tree Drive, with a presentation starting at 6:30.

The proposal would update and clarify the vision and policy for potential development in the area. “There’s never been a clear vision or strategy for what should happen with the gravel mine ponds in this area. There’s been a long series of attempts and ideas by property owners, but the water in the area comes with big complications” said Clark Mapes, the City Planner who is leading the review of the proposal.

The meeting is a chance to learn about concerns and hear from a prospective developer about the proposal to amend the plan. The developer’s proposal envisions for a mixed-use activity center, with the water and land completely reshaped.
