Police Investigate Truck vs Semi Collision

On September 26, 2017 at approximately 11:10 pm, Fort Collins Police were notified of an injury collision involving a semi-tractor trailer and a Ford Ranger pickup truck at the intersection of Harmony Road and West Frontage Road.
The Ford Ranger, driven by Steven Kilgore, 19, was going east on Harmony Road approaching the intersection of West Frontage Road. A loaded semi- tractor trailer, driven by Kenneth Williams, 58, made a left turn from westbound Harmony Road in front of the Ford Ranger, causing the vehicles to collide almost head-on. The traffic light was green for both east and west traffic at the time of the collision.
Kilgore was transported to the Medical Center of the Rockies with serious injuries. Williams was transported to Poudre Valley Hospital with minor injuries. Eastbound lanes of Harmony Road were closed for approximately 6 hours while the Fort Collins Police CRASH Team investigated the incident. The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
