Recreation offers programs and activities for all abilities. In addition to traditional programming, Recreation will host a number of unique events throughout April including the Senior Center’s Spring Artisan Market and snowshoe/hiking trips across Colorado. A listing of special events taking place in April is below. 2017 Summer Recreator Release
Tuesday, April 18
Get ready to play outside this summer with Recreation. The summer edition of the Recreator will be released on April 18, and registration begins May 4. Summer activities range from swimming lessons to day camps to outdoor wilderness exploration and survival. More information is available at

Spring Artisan Market
Saturday, April 8 (10 a.m.-4 p.m.)
Location: Senior Center, 1200 Raintree Drive
Spring is in the air and handmade goods are at the Senior Center. Support local artists and join thousands of other shoppers at this Fort Collins tradition. This is one of the premier artisan markets in the area with approximately 50 artisans and crafters in attendance. Learn more at

Snowshoe and Hiking Trips
April 6-28 (8 a.m.-4 p.m.)
Location: Depart from Senior Center, 1200 Raintree Drive
Love the outdoors? Enjoy a good physical challenge? Trek your way through scenic trails and end up at unbelievably beautiful views during one of our Outdoor Recreation snowshoe/hiking trips. April trips include South Mesa Trail, Kruger Rock, and Mount Margaret. Find more information at
