Water Main Break on Maple and Jefferson Streets

Posted on: Oct-27-2013

Fort Collins Utilities experienced a break to a 16-inch water main at 5 a.m. Sunday morning. The affected areas are in the 100 through 300 blocks of Maple Street and Jefferson Street to the east and west of College Avenue.  Crews are in the process of replacing between 8 to 12 feet of water line so heavy construction is occurring. A temporary road closure on the 200 block of Maple between Howes and Mason is in effect. Water service is anticipated to be restored by Sunday evening.
