The Difference Between Graffiti and Art is Permission

Report Graffiti

You can report graffiti using any of the following options

  • Graffiti Hot Line: 416-2400
  • E-mail:
  • Online: graffiti nuisance form »

In order to keep Fort Collins graffiti-free, community members must be the eyes and ears for reporting defaced property. Graffiti is a crime, and when left unchecked, can contribute to the deterioration of our neighborhoods and the beauty of Fort Collins. So if you observe graffiti anywhere in the city, whether it is at a park, bike trail, on a street sign or even on a neighbor's fence, don't assume that someone else has reported the incident, take one minute to contact us and help keep Fort Collins beautiful.

Fort Collins is fortunate to have a 24 hour, 7 day a week, “Graffiti Hotline” where citizens can call to report graffiti. By calling 416-2400, you can be assured that the Graffiti Abatement Coordinator will make out a police report and the owner, business or city department will be contacted to abate the issue as soon as possible. Every effort will be made to see that all graffiti is cleaned up within 24 hours.

If you find graffiti on your property it is extremely important to remove it as soon as possible. If it is left up for even a few days, others will add to it.
Note: Graffiti removal is the responsibility of the property owner.

To report graffiti in progress, call 9-1-1. For all other reports of graffiti, please:
