Colorado State University’s Engines & Energy Conversion Laboratory is discovering new ways to conserve energy, creating innovative clean energy products, and addressing health and safety issues for humanity.
The results of these efforts are tangible, with commercial products such as cookstoves, engine retrofits, biofuels from algae, and super turbos with energy efficiencies going to market from the lab.
Citizens, business owners, and visiting dignitaries have toured the facility extensively over the last few years. Ninety three tours occurred in 2008. Nearly 50 tour groups have seen the lab in 2009. If you are interested in learning more and speaking with some of the researchers and staff addressing these issues, contact Stacy Grant, Ram Tracks program director, 970.988.5823.
