ClimateWise Welcomed 10 New Business Partners, 52 Total in 2013

ClimateWise welcomed 10 new businesses to the program in October, November and December 2013, including Accounting Systems, Inc.; Bear Capital Advisors; Dr. Seth’s Mustache Wax, LLC; Mac Electric Company, Inc.; Michelle Venus; Renewablue, LLC; RLE Technologies; Roots Real Estate; Subway and The Food School at Common Ground Urban Farm. This brings the total of new partners in 2013 to 52.

ClimateWise is a voluntary program sponsored by the City of Fort Collins and over 350 business partners participate and receive recognition through waste and transportation reductions and energy and water conservation.

Since 2000, ClimateWise business partners, which range from large to small organizations, have achieved a cumulative savings of nearly $73 million and avoided more than one million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions.
