Save Your Business Money and Reduce Environmental Impacts

The City of Fort Collins ClimateWise program is hosting its first quarter ClimateWise Orientation Friday, Feb., 1 8:30-9:30 a.m., Community Room, 215 N. Mason St.

Fort Collins businesses and ClimateWise business partners are invited to attend this free event and learn about the ClimateWise program and how businesses can save money and reduce carbon emissions.

Recognized as a “Top 50 Innovative Government Program†by Harvard University, ClimateWise is a free voluntary program sponsored by the City of Fort Collins. Approximately 350 business partners participate through waste and transportation reductions and energy and water conservation.
ClimateWise provides free public recognition, peer-to-peer networking, tools and ongoing educational support.

Since 2000, ClimateWise business partners, ranging from large to small organizations, have achieved a cumulative savings of nearly $59 million and reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 149,000 metric tons.
