Bicyclist and Pedestrian Count Project 2022#

The City of Fort Collins is looking for volunteers for our annual Bicyclist and Pedestrian Count this September. This is an exciting opportunity to generate the data needed to prioritize future improvements for those who walk and ride bikes in our community. This project supports our community's commitment to making active transportation a viable transportation option for our growing city.

This year’s counts are Tuesday, Sept 20, and Saturday, Sept 24. We are looking for volunteers to fill a variety of 2-hour shifts at several different intersections and trail locations throughout Fort Collins. Volunteers are more than welcome to work more than one 2-hour shift if they'd like!

We are also requiring volunteers to view a short online training video prior to their shift -- this training will provide important details and instructions to make sure you are safe, comfortable and confident with your counting shift. Count forms and other information will be sent by email and can be mailed if needed.

Volunteers who complete the counts will also get a chance to receive one of many Downtown Business Association gift cards!
