Our youth and adult sports programs benefit thousands of community members per year. A wide variety of opportunities for all ages are available through Recreation's Sports programs. Adults can get active and stay healthy by participating in sports like softball, volleyball, basketball and flag football. Kids can benefit from exercise and learn important social values by participating in sports such as basketball, football, wrestling, Cross Country volleyball and Track. Our diverse offerings, dedicated staff and excellent content make sports a valuable community resource.

Youth Athletics Team Sports Schedule Change (PDF)

Starting in the 2014-2015 school year, the Youth Athletics will be changing its schedule of offerings.  This change is in line with the Poudre School District Middle School Sports Changes.

2014 Summer Basketball Camps

Denver Nuggets/National Basketball Academy: 

This summer the Staff from the Nuggets Youth Basketball Academy will be in Fort Collins to offer 2 different camps. 

These camps offer instruction based on child’s grade level and skills.  All campers receive; a Nuggets Camp T-Shirt, Nuggets Basketball, Nuggets Wrist Band, High Quality Coaching and a Ticket to a 2014-2015 Nuggets Home game.

Camp 1 at Blevins Middle School, June 2nd- June 6th

Camp 2 at Northside Aztlan Community Center, August 11th- August 15th

Ages 5-7 - 9am-11am

Ages 8-12  Noon-3pm

Ages 13-18  4pm-7pm

Skyhawks Basketball Camps:

These camps are designed for beginner and intermediate basketball players.  Using a progressive curriculum we skyhawks staff teaches skills to be better on and off the court.  Goto for more information on skyhawks programs.

2 Skyhawks camps are available this summer:

Camp 1 (ages 6-10) June 23rd-June 27th 9am-noon at Northside Aztlan Community Center $118 (314071-06)

Camp 2 (ages 7-12) July 21st-July 25th 9am-noon at Northside Aztlan Community Center $118 (314071-14)

Rocky Mountian High School Camp

On May 28th and 29th Rocky Mountain High School is hosting the RMHS Boys and Girls Individual Basketball Camp.

2015 Summer Adult Basketball

Teams will sign up for their level preference on a first come basis. 8 games scheduled. Note: Rosters are unlimited (Participants age 16 & 17 need parent signature on roster prior to participation). League not discountable.Age: 16 years & up Registration: Begins 5/4, ends 5/29 or when leagues fill (whichever comes first)

League Begins: Week of 6/1

Cost: $369 8 games

Applications will be taken for sports officials, scorekeepers and supervisors. Positions vary depending on the sport and the season. Interested persons should apply at the Sports Office at 413 S. Bryan Ave.
