Yard Trimmings and Leaves |
Yard trimmings include leaves, grass, weeds, twigs, branches, and other lawn trimmings. Yard trimmings can be composted in your backyard composting system or taken to one of the locations listed below for composting. Fees may apply; contact the location for details. Local trash haulers, including the City’s contracted hauler, also offer seasonal yard trimmings collection (including small branches up to 3 inches in diameter) from April-November for no additional charge. Wood Waste |
Wood can be recycled at the drop-off locations listed below. Contact locations for details of what can be accepted. Treated or painted wood is not accepted at these locations. Wood waste includes branches, stumps, dimensional lumber, pallets, crates, shake shingles, and other wood scraps. Tree Limb Disposal from Spring Snow Storm: In response to the spring snow storm, the City is offering two drop off sites for free residential limb drop off. Learn more. |
