The Gardens on Spring Creek, Colorado State University, & Front Range Community College partner to cultivate, grow, and offer spring plants for sale
FORT COLLINS – May 2, 2014 - In partnership with students from Colorado State University and Front Range Community College, the Gardens on Spring Creek, 2145 Centre Avenue, presents its Spring Plant Sale on Saturday, May 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday, May 11 from noon to 5 p.m.
A wide variety of plants are grown by the Gardens on Spring Creek and horticulture students of Colorado State University and Front Range Community College. Many drought tolerant varieties of perennials, unique annuals, and succulents will be offered for sale.
In addition, ornamental grasses, rock garden perennials and succulents, herbs, vegetables, and many unique varieties you won’t find elsewhere will be offered for sale.

About the Gardens on Spring Creek
The Gardens on Spring Creek opened in May 2004, part of a vital public/private partnership between the city of Fort Collins and the Friends of the Gardens on Spring Creek. The Gardens currently includes a Plant Select® Demonstration Garden, a Children’s’ Garden, the Garden of Eatin’, a Rock Garden, and the Xeric Parkway Strip. The Gardens also supports school and community garden outreach programs, offers a school field trip program and youth summer camps; provides year-round educational programs for all ages; and hosts several special events.
