Betty Aragon Mitotes
Betty Aragon Mitotes has worked zealously and tirelessly to further respect and to value all citizens. In addition to heading up the Buckingham Neighborhood Association and representing their interests to the City on a wide variety of issues, Betty endeavors in many volunteer activities. Betty has recently seen a dream come to fruition in her founding role in the opening of the Museo de Las Tres Colonias in 2006; a living museum showing family life as it would have been in the 1827-1940 era. Betty works to communicate her knowledge of the Hispanic culture, sharing stories, highlighting traditions, and diligently working to educate wherever possible.
