Adding compost to the soil is important for good soil management in our Colorado landscapes. But do you buy it or make it, and how much should you add? Growing Roses in Colorado
Saturday, March 11, 1–3 p.m., $18
This class will address rose selection and how to plant new roses in Colorado. We will cover rose care of existing and new roses; from spring to pruning, fertilization, watering and diseases. Beekeeping Through the Four Seasons: Spring

With the blooming of dandelions, bees are ready to come out of the hive. This is the busiest time of the year for the beekeeper. In this session, the beekeeper’s work during springtime will be discussed in detail, including removing insulation, removing old honeycomb, installing bees, and catching a swarm.
