This bronze sculpture honors the victims of the devastating flood that struck Fort Collins in 1997. The piece recognizes the many rescuers who risked their lives and the community members who selflessly worked side by side to help those in need.
Kreutzer hopes future generations will see the hope and courage of the community reflected in the statue's four bronze figures, which are linking arms - a symbol of the network of support in the community.
