Transformer Cabinet Mural Project

The City of Fort Collins Art in Public Places Program is seeking local artists/teams and non-profit organizations to work with the Transformer Cabinet Mural Project Team to develop and paint murals on electrical transformer cabinets around Fort Collins. The murals are intended to help mitigate graffiti, as well as add art to the community.

Artists/teams residing, owning a business, or having a current studio space within the Fort Collins Growth Management Area can download the Request for Qualifications (RFQ).

Individuals or teams from non-profit organizations located within the City of Fort Collins Growth Management Area can download the Request for Qualifications (RFQ).

Pedestrian Pavers

The Fort Collins Art in Public Places Program is requesting designs for artwork to be incorporated into the City's streetscape. Fort Collins youth ages 3 to 18 may submit a black and white line drawing depicting life in Fort Collins or demonstrating a transportation theme. The drawings may be either representational or abstract. Eligibility is open to residents and/or schools within the City of Fort Collins city limits. Download the Request for Proposals (RFP).

Pianos About Town

The City of Fort Collins Art in Public Places Program, in cooperation with community partners Bohemian Foundation and Downtown Development Authority, seek to involve local artists/teams by commissioning them to work with the Pianos About Town Project team to paint murals or otherwise artistically decorate working pianos. The artists will be required to work on the piano in Old Town Square or an APP determined interior location in Fort Collins. The intent of this project is to create a downtown attraction of an artist working on site in Old Town Square, Fort Collins, CO, and to place decorated pianos around the Fort Collins area. Design Consultant List

The City of Fort Collins is seeking visual artists to serve as Design Consultants for city construction projects. The APP Program is creating a resource list of approved visual artists who can work as Design Consultants for city projects that may or may not have an independent art budget. Design Consultants selected from the resource list will work with a project team, architects, engineers, and managers to designate opportunities for art within the project or within a separate art budget.
