Art in Action 2009

In a cooperative project between the Art in Public Places Program and the Downtown Development Authority, the “Art in Action” Project set up a painting studio in Old Town Square. During the summer of 2009, visitors to downtown Fort Collins were charmed by local artist Lisa Cameron as she painted ten steel panels in her vibrant and colorful style. The panels will be assembled into a vertical double-sided sculptural installation that will be integrated into one of the newly renovated downtown alleys. This piece is scheduled to be permanently installed upon the full completion of Montezuma Fuller Alley, as part of the Downtown Alley Enhancement project by the DDA.
