NoCo Urban Homestead Tour

Saturday, September 20; 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Fort Collins & Loveland

Gardens: (970) 416-2486

Want to learn about bees, raising chickens, and all things edible gardening? Get inspired by the homesteads featured on our inaugural NoCo Urban Homestead Tour, a new fundraising event benefiting the Gardens on Spring Creek and Loveland Youth Gardeners.

Tour goers will be treated to 6 tour stops, three homesteads in central Fort Collins and three in downtown Loveland; each integrating unique processes and attractions. The mission of this event is to educate the public about a self-sustainable lifestyle that includes growing your own edibles, raising backyard chickens, goats & bees, home brewing, and incorporating useful garden structures. The tour will feature these practices in small yet inspiring backyard settings.

Guests will learn firsthand how the homestead hosts integrate these activities into their daily lives with the purpose of leading a more sustainable lifestyle.

This event will be held in conjunction with the 7th annual Harvest Festival at The Gardens.

Ticket Passes can be purchased by calling 970-416-2486. Tickets can also be purchased at the door of the Harvest Festival on Sept. 20.

Cost to attend the Tour is $15 per person; Children 12 & under are free.

All proceeds will benefit Gardens on Spring Creek & Loveland Youth Gardeners.
