Solar Update: What’s New Under the Sun provides information about new paths to “go solar,†from 7-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 3, Midtown Arts Center, 3750 S. Mason St. (just south of Horsetooth Road and Mason Street).

During the program, the Colorado Solar Energy Industry Association (COSEIA) will present an award to the City for being a “Solar Friendly Community,†and Eddie Stern, COSEIA executive director, will discuss statewide solar initiatives.

Other topics will include local incentive programs for residential solar and solar gardens, as well as current technology, costs and financing options (e.g., on-bill financing and leasing).

Bring a recent utility bill and/or come with an awareness of your average monthly electric use in kilowatt-hours (kWh).
