Kites in the Park

Event Details

Due to poor weather conditions, we regret to inform you that this year's Kites in the Park Festival, scheduled for Sunday, May 21 has been canceled.

The persistent bad weather poses safety concerns to all attending, and possible damage to fields at Spring Canyon Park. We apologize for the cancellation, and any inconvenience this may cause you.

We intend to make next year's Kites in the Park Festival more spectacular than ever, and hope you can join us then.

Date: Sunday, May 21, 2017
Time: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Spring Canyon Park, Fort Collins, Colorado

Grab your kite and come out to Spring Canyon Community Park for the 10th annual Kites in the Park Festival. Presented by City of Fort Collins, Kites in the Park is a FREE family-friendly community event that celebrates all things kites. We’ll welcome fliers from around the world that will perform ballets, battle kites, and fly giant kites. Youth are welcome to decorate their own kites to take home. Enjoy great food, activities including a stick horse rodeo, demonstrations, and clinics to battle ROK kites.
