Pros and Cons of the Program

When the City receives complaints from resident,s we do our best to provide solutions for our community. While every program has pros and cons, we have tried to find a balance for neighborhoods that experience parking problems.  

Pros:

1. Vehicles with permits would be able to park on neighborhood streets past the two hour time limit
2. Close up convenient parking for residents
3. Preserve livability in neighborhoods
4. Reduce congestion and improve air quality

Cons:

1. Fees associated with permits
2. Inconvenience of obtaining permit once a year
3. Permit parking signs could be placed on-street in front of neighborhood homes
