The intersection of Lemay Avenue and Lincoln Avenue will be closed during daylight hours three days this week to allow construction crews to mill and repave that intersection.

Closures are scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, Nov. 10-12, beginning at 6 a.m. each day. The intersection will be open during the evening and overnight hours.

The intersection of Buckingham Street and Lemay will also be closed during those hours.

On Tuesday, Nov. 9, the Lemay/Lincoln intersection will be open, but uniformed police will direct traffic through the intersection from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., as traffic signals will be off during that time.

Traffic will be detoured onto Vine Drive and Mulberry Street. Drivers should use caution in the work zone and follow all detour signs.

Work at the intersection is expected to be complete by the weekend, and the intersection will be fully reopened.

This construction is related to the $24 million Vine/Lemay Overpass project, which is expected to be open to traffic by the end of 2021.
