Mayor Wade Troxell said Fort Collins is strong and resilient at last night’s State of the City event, presented online with City Manager Darin Atteberry.
The annual event, which reflects on the events and accomplishments of the prior year and looks ahead to the future of Fort Collins, was held online due to current COVID-19 conditions.
Troxell and Atteberry shared personal reflections and detailed the City’s response to three primary crises in 2020: the COVID-19 pandemic and associated economic impacts, national and local calls for racial justice, and the Cameron Peak Fire. They also shared some of the City’s strategies and opportunities moving forward as the community continues to recover in 2021 and beyond.
Each of the three primary topics also featured a short video to look more closely at the response from the City and community partners.
The full State of the City replay and the three feature videos are available to view at www.fcgov.com/stateofthecity. In addition, the page includes the annual Report to the Community, which highlights more key initiatives and accomplishments from the past year.
