- Mark Laken, , 970-223-3546, email@example.com, Website: fcgov.com
Beginning next week, the City of Fort Collins will build bicycle and pedestrian improvements at the intersection of West Elizabeth Street and Ponderosa Drive.
Work will include installation of pedestrian/cyclist push button signals, sidewalk ramps, bike medians and restriping Elizabeth Street to include left turn pockets and an eastbound bike lane.
Construction is scheduled to begin Monday, Oct. 26, weather permitting, and will continue into December. Hoff Construction is the contractor for the project.
Through traffic will be maintained at all times on West Elizabeth Street and on Ponderosa Drive south of Elizabeth Street. However, there will be road closures on Ponderosa Drive north of Elizabeth Street that will require local traffic to detour to Timber Lane and West Plum Street. Access to residences and businesses will be maintained.
