Police investigate home invasion robbery, need help identifying suspects
Investigators need help identifying two men who broke into an occupied home, tied up a victim, and stole a truck.
On July 1, 2020, Fort Collins Police responded to investigate a home invasion robbery in the 900 block of W. Mountain Avenue. The adult male victim told police that two unknown men entered his home sometime between 7:00-7:30 p.m. The suspects grabbed the victim, threatened to harm him, and demanded money. They ultimately ordered him to the basement where they bound and left him. They then stole a number of items from the home and fled in the victim’s Ford Ranger pickup truck. The victim was not physically injured during this incident. The truck was recovered on July 2 in the area of N. Taft Hill Road and Laporte Avenue.
The suspects were described as a white male wearing jeans, approximately 6’2-6’4 tall with a muscular build, and a Hispanic male wearing dark clothes, approximately 5’4 tall with a stocky build.
