The City of Fort Collins and Code for Fort Collins are partnering to host a collaboration series for community members to learn about and use data to tell stories and solve problems.
For the kick-off session, City staff will present available data on topics such as traffic patterns and trends, rain gauge data and the flood warning system, and the City’s own efforts at using both internal and external data sources to inform decisions. Presentations will be followed by Q&A and discussions about new ways this and other data could be used.
The first session, “FCx: Improving Fort Collins with Data,” will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, at the Old Town Library, 201 Peterson St.
No data experience or knowledge is required of attendees.
Code for Fort Collins is a volunteer organization who develops technology-driven solutions to challenges faced by charities, government agencies, and other groups within the city. Learn more at www.codeforfoco.org.
