The City of Fort Collins Commission on Disability (COD) is accepting nominations for the 2019 Community Recognition Awards, which honor those who work for the advancement of people with disabilities in the community.
Every year the COD recognizes individuals, businesses and agencies that work to enrich the lives of people with disabilities and who effect change by embracing the spirit of inclusion and respect.
Nominations are now open at fcgov.com/codma for the 2019 awards and will be accepted through Sept. 10. There’s no residency requirement, but the work must have taken place in Fort Collins. Previous recipients are not eligible.
Mayor Wade Troxell will present the awards at a formal luncheon at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 17 at the CSU Grand Ballroom, Lory Student Center, 1101 Center Ave. Mall.
