The City of Fort Collins is seeking feedback on the current Strategic Plan as part of its Budgeting for Outcomes (BFO) process.
Monday, Oct. 23 residents are invited to attend an informal Open House at the Harmony Library, 4616 S. Shields St., Community Room between 1 – 2 p.m. City Staff will be on hand to answer questions and take input on what you think the City should make a priority in coming years.
The Strategic Plan reflects the input of engaged residents, community and business partners, Mayor and Council Members and City staff. The City is currently reviewing the Strategic Plan to ensure that it reflects the needs and priorities of our residents.
People unable to attend are encouraged to fill out a brief online feedback form at fcgov.com/sp-poll identifying their priorities for the future of Fort Collins. There they can learn more about the project and see previous Strategic Plans. The online activity is available through Nov. 17.
The information gathered will be reviewed and used as we move forward into our BFO process, which emphasizes priorities and results, not just cost.
City officials will review comments along with feedback we gather through our 2017 Community Survey, focus groups, community listening sessions and other community engagement activities, as they decide how to allocate funds for the 2019-2020 biennial budget.
