This summer, the City of Fort Collins is repaving Elizabeth Street between Stover and Lemay, providing an opportunity to restripe this section of Elizabeth with bike lanes and on-street parking on the south side. This restriping will help calm traffic and make the street safer for all users. The new bike lanes will fill an important gap in our local bicycle network and support safe routes to and from Laurel Elementary for neighborhood children. Residents are invited to share any thoughts on the reconfiguration of the street at an informal open house at the Westbridge Medical Suites near Poudre Valley Hospital. Free parking is available in the lot just west of building, and Transfort’s Route 5 serves this area.
