The City of Fort Collins Natural Areas Program invites citizens to take advantage of a wide variety of free educational activities in October. Registration is not required unless noted. Birding the Pronghorn Trail
Friday, October 1, 4-7 pm.
Soapstone Prairie Natural Area.
Meet at the south parking lot. Enjoy a late afternoon walk to learn about the birds of the shortgrass prairie. 5 miles, moderate. No registration required.

Astronomy
Saturday, October 2, 7:00 p.m.
Fossil Creek Reservoir Regional Open Space
Join knowledgeable and friendly volunteers from Northern Colorado Astronomical Society to enjoy stargazing and the night sky. Bring a jacket, and a folding chair or blanket to sit on. No registration required.
