College Ave. Closure for Tree Removal

David Young spoke with Rebecca Powell, Coloradoan, regarding the northbound lane closure on College Ave. this Saturday for tree removal and maintenance. Powell inquired about the specific location of the tree slated for removal. Young replied that it is the northern most of the two large cottonwood trees located near the Travel King. GeoCaching in Natural Areas

Zoe Shark of Natural Areas spoke with Theresa Bayer of Rocky Mountain Parent magazine who is doing a story on geocaching. Zoe explained that geocaching is not permitted in City of Fort Collins Natural Areas and that the department's "virtual geocache" program is no longer running due to lack of participation.
