Join the Lincoln Center Volunteer Team
Volunteers are an extremely important and essential part of The Lincoln Center family. We rely on our volunteers to be our eyes and ears and to assist patrons in navigating and participating in the over 300 performances and events we offer each year. Volunteers get exposed to a wide array of artistic and professional endeavors including theatrical performances, dance productions, art gallery installations, concerts and community events. We ask our volunteers to fill many roles such as greeters, ushers, ticket-takers, guides and art gallery attendants. While volunteers get to enjoy a majority of the presentations that they work, the priority is providing our patrons with a professional and enjoyable experience that makes them want to return time and time again.

The Next Generation of Leaders
This summer was a big success for 20 teens who participated in NextGenServe. Twice each week this group of 12-18 year-olds met up at City Hall to enjoy a day with new friends and serve the community while learning valuable job skills.  Projects included: Gardening at City Parks and other facilities, serving food at FoCo Cafe, pulling invasive weeds at Soapstone Prairie, and teaching younger kids about water quality. Along the way, these budding public servants learned about careers in Traffic Operations, Streets, Utilities, Parks, Natural Areas and more! Our summer concluded with a picnic at Washington Park to celebrate and reflect. Parents joined the festivities to learn about our experiences through presentations by each member of the crew. It was clear by their enthusiasm, that everyone made new friends, enjoyed their projects, and learned a lot. Everyone is planning to return next year and they invite others to join. If you would like to be part of the Next Generation of Leaders, consider joining us in 2023. Program details will be available in January.
