Fort Collins Small Business Grants
City of Fort Collins Receives $1M in Funding to Deliver as Small Business Grants to Local Businesses. A total of $800K will be made available for the Small Business Recovery Grants.

Small Business Grants will be made in increments of $2,500, $5,000, or $7,500, grant amount is dependent upon number of employees and annual revenue (assistance will not have to be repaid).  

Two rounds of funding will be made available to businesses. Round 1 will be open to businesses on August 1 and closes August 30. Round 2 will be open to businesses on October 3 and closes October 31.
 
In addition to the $800K, the newly opened Multicultural Business & Entrepreneurship Center is now offering business services to the community and has $30K at its disposal to help businesses with technical assistance.  

Expanded criteria and eligibility will be available to potential Small Business applicants the week prior to Round 1 opening on August 1.

Applications will be made available in Spanish. 

About the Retail Delivery Fee

Effective July 1, 2022, Colorado imposes a retail delivery fee on all deliveries by motor vehicle to a location in Colorado with at least one item of tangible personal property subject to state sales or use tax. Read more about the fee here

Grocery Rebate Program opening soon! Let your employees know.

The Grocery Rebate Program will be accepting applications starting August 1, 2022.  This program is year round. One application per household each calendar year. Notify your employees to see if they qualify! 

Using Get: FoCo , all you need is one application for multiple discounted services offered by the City of Fort Collins!

  • Colorado Climber Loan Fundnow providing eligible small businesses with working capital loans between $30,000 - $500,000.   
  • WorkLife Partnership’s Small Dollar Loans Programis an efficient, cost-effective, low-risk alternative to payroll advances and employee loan programs. 
  • Skill Advance Colorado Job Training Grant helps businesses and nonprofits create customized job training for employees through industry customized job training reimbursement grants. 
  • OEDIT Business Foundations Technical Assistance Grant Program provides technical assistance and small grants to Colorado small businesses to help businesses legally establish themselves.
  • COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loan Payments were automatically deferred for 30 months from the date of the Note. SBA began approving COVID EIDL applications in Spring 2020. This means we are rapidly approaching the end of the deferment period for those early loans. Business Owners should start preparing to make payments.
