Road Closures, Still Open for Business on Vine & Lemay

Construction work for the new Lemay Avenue bridge will result in a full closure of Lemay Avenue north of Lincoln Avenue began July 6, 2021 through mid-August 2021. 

During the same time, Lemay Avenue will also be closed between Vine Drive and Conifer Street for utility and street work related to the Northfield development. 

During the closure, all business will be accessible and open. Patrons to businesses at 225 N. Lemay, including:  

  • Snowbank Brewing 
  • Paws ‘N Claws Veterinary Clinic 
  • Roth Medial 
  • Encore Electric 
  • Project 44 
  • Waypoint Real Estate 
  • Luminous Creo 

should use Vine Drive or Buckingham Street to Lemay Avenue/9th Street, then turn south to access businesses.

Meet Fort Collins Companies to Watch 2021 Top Finalists
Four Fort Collins companies have been nominated as top finalists for the 2021 Colorado Companies to Watch Award. Help us celebrate NoshThe Dough BarPit Liquor, and Aerosol Devices for their amazing contributions. Colorado Companies to Watch is a statewide awards program recognizing growing companies that fuel the economic fire of the state. The winners will be announced later this summer. 

Meet Andrew Meade, Larimer Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Consultant

Andrew Meade worked for over 35 years in the construction industry. As a project manager he has built dozens of large commercial construction projects. As a business unit manager, he ran regional profit centers for a major U.S. general contractor in Redwood City and San Jose, CA.   

Andy and some partners founded a commercial general contracting firm focused on high-tech and healthcare construction in Silicon Valley which grew rapidly to an annual volume over $50 million and more than 80 employees. After 8 years as its President, Andy moved on to pursue other interests including small business consulting. As a volunteer business coach with an anti-poverty entrepreneurship program, Andy spent a year in West Africa in 2014 helping 20 local businesses develop and execute long term growth strategies.
