Dear friends, neighbors and colleagues –

Today’s newsletter includes information about the adjusted Larimer County requirements as we continue to reopen certain business sectors and move forward in recovery. I would ask for your continued patience with the guidelines and with one another as we all navigate next steps for our community. It’s also important to note that the more of our population that is vaccinated, the more we can consider further loosening restrictions. Vaccines are widely available across the county; please consider making an appointment today.

  • Last call 2 a.m.
  • Maximum capacity at gyms 100% with 6ft distancing.
  • Indoor events: Unseated events 50% capacity or up to 175 people. Seated events, no capacity limit with 6ft distancing. 500+ people requires state approval.

Updated State and County Mask Mandates

On May 2, Colorado updated its statewide mask mandate, but counties can still have their own mandates in place. In Larimer County:

  • Community members 11 and older should continue to wear masks in public indoor spaces, including local businesses, even if vaccinated.
  • It is strongly recommended that masks should be worn outdoors when 6 feet social distancing cannot be maintained.

Vaccinations

Vaccine distribution is underway in Larimer County, and everyone over the age of 16 is now eligible for a vaccine.

Studies show the spread of COVID-19 slows dramatically once 65% of eligible residents are vaccinated, getting us closer to lifting guidelines & back to enjoying everyday activities. Every person who gets the vaccine helps stop COVID-19 from spreading, helping our community stay healthy and our businesses thriving.

Do your part on our drive to 65 by signing up for a vaccine and continuing to:

  • Wear a mask or face covering when indoors and near others.
  • Stay physically distant when you’re around others (at least 6 feet apart).
  • Wash your hands frequently!
  • Stay home if you’re not feeling well or have been exposed.

Let's continue to work together, take care of each other and drive to 65!
