Dear friends, neighbors and colleagues -

I hope you have been healthy and warm during this recent cold snap. The state and county continue to distribute vaccines to people currently eligible. Please note that the City of Fort Collins, as an organization, does not currently possess and will not administer vaccines to the public – that is being coordinated at the county and health-care provider level. Additional information about vaccine distribution is included below.

Darin Atteberry, City Manager

State & County

Vaccine distribution is underway in Larimer County. Colorado is currently vaccinating those eligible in these phases:

  • Phase 1A includes frontline healthcare workers and staff and patients in long-term care facilities
  • Phase 1B.1 includes moderate risk healthcare workers, first responders, and those 70 years old and above
  • Phase 1B.2 includes those ages 65-69, Pre-K-12 educators and support staff, and licensed childcare workers

The county expects that the vaccine will be available to the general public in the summer of 2021. Until then, please continue to follow public health guidance like physical distancing and mask-wearing.
