Fort Collins Small Business Assistance Program Apply Now! - El Programa De Asistencia Para Pequenos Negocios Solicite ahora!

The City of Fort Collins is launching a financial assistance program through CARES Act funds to provide relief to businesses in the amount of up to $7,500. The City is distributing a total of $1.6M to businesses through the program by the end of the year. This assistance will not have to be repaid. The application will be available starting Tuesday, September 8th and close on Wednesday, September 23rd.

La ciudad de Fort Collins está lanzando un programa de asistencia financiera a través de los fondos de CARES Act para proveer asistencia de hasta un máximo de $7,500 a los negocios. La ciudad estará distribuyendo un total de $1.5 millones de dólares a los negocios a través del programa, antes de fin de año. La asistencia no tendrá que volver a pagarse. Free De-escalation Training for Businesses During COVID-19

A moderated panel on Wednesday, September 16 at 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. will feature several local business owners that will be covering topics including:

  • Real-life scenarios of customer compliance and general conflict due to new public health orders, such as the face covering mandate
  • Best practices of excellent customer communications and conflict management

  • Energize Colorado Gap Fund applications are now open. Sole proprietors, businesses and nonprofits with less than 25 full-time employees can apply for up to a $15,000 grant and a $20,000 loan for a possible combined total of $35,000 in financial assistance.
  • Dine Out to Help Out this Saturday, Colorado Restaurant Day! The restaurant industry supports almost 300K jobs across Colorado and has been deeply impacted by the fight against COVID-19. Gov. Polis has declared Saturday, September 12th as Colorado Restaurant Day. Use social media tags #coloradorestaurantday and #dineouttohelpout, and of course, support your favorite restaurants by dining out or ordering takeout. 
  • CLIMBER Loan Fund Program is expected to launch in October. The fund will provide capital for working capital loans averaging approximately $100k to over 1,000 of the hardest-hit businesses that had a track record of success prior to the pandemic.
