About the Carnegie Center for Creativity

The Carnegie Center for Creativity (CCC) at the Historic Carnegie Building is owned and operated by the City of Fort Collins. The CCC is home to public gallery, performance and studio spaces that are available to rent for exhibition, performance, teaching and event purposes. The CCC is intended to be used by artists from various disciplines, employing a wide range of artistic expressions.

The Carnegie is offering a winter Open Hang!

Artist hanging artwork at an Open Hang event.

Any community artist can bring one or two artworks to hang or display in the Carnegie Gallery Space February 14-17, 2018.

Here's how it works:
Monday, February 12, 4-7pm: Bring your original artwork and a label with your name, title, media and price of the artwork and find a place to hang/display your work in the Carnegie Gallery Space.
Wednesday-Saturday, February 14-17, 12-6pm: Visit the exhibit, invite your friends!
Thursday, February 15, 6-8 p.m.: Enjoy food and wine at the Artists Reception. Open to the public.
Saturday, February 17,6-7pm or Sunday, February 18, 9am-12pm: Pick up your artwork.

The Open Hang is a great way to build community with other visual artists in town. Please share this information with anyone you know who might want to display one of their original artworks, meet new artists, and enjoy this fun visual arts event!
