Art in Public Places Board
DutiesThe Art in Public Places Board advises and makes recommendations to the City Council regarding incorporation of works of art into construction projects; advises and makes recommendations to the City Council regarding the acceptance of offers to donate art to be placed in public areas; and advises and makes recommendations to the Executive Director of Culture, Parks, Recreation and Environment Services Unit and the City Council as to rules, regulations, guidelines, policy, administrative, and budgetary matters pertaining to the Art in Public Places Program.
Recommended QualificationsGeneral interest in art; except for the three arts professional positions. (Arts Professional shall mean a person who has either a degree in a visual arts related field and/or extensive professional experience in the visual arts.)
