Secure Downtown Bicycle Parking Instructions


What:
The Bike Cage (south end of garage, lower level).
Where: Located downtown at the cross streets of Mason Street and Laporte Road in Civic Center Parking Garage.
Who: For use by anyone who has a parking garage permit.

Cost: The cost for the bike cage is free for anyone who has an existing full-service automobile permit, but they need to come to Parking Services to have their permit "activated" to allow bike cage access. For those without an existing full-service automobile permit, the cost is $5 per month, or $20 per year.

Instructions

Use access card (distributed by Parking Services) to gain access to the bike cage.

 

Enter into bike cage.

 

Simply place bike in bottom or top rack.

 

Make sure wheels fit in grooves for proper placement.

 

Example of bottom rack installation. An additional bike lock is recommended while storing bike in bike cage.

 

After leaving bike cage with bicycle, make sure bike cage door is fully closed.
