Redtailed Hawks

Larry Tucci
2006 Hampshire Rd

The north and west sides of this design show a larger-than-life view of two adult Redtailed Hawks with their two young chicks at the nest. One of the adults is just returning with a small food item while the other adult keeps watch. The south side is adjacent to a utility building so it can only be viewed up close and personal, for that reason I depicted a very intimate view on the south side of two young adolescent hawks in the treetops. The east side features a fox squirrel scampering to escape the pursuit of an incoming hawk, something which might be witnessed on occasion right there in Blevins Park where this project is located. The top of the box will feature a Red-tailed Hawk soaring high above a grove of trees in a bird’s eye view.
