Toilet Rebates


Rebates on Toilets

  • Receive a $75 bill credit when you replace your old water-guzzling toilet with a qualified MaP Premium labeled model.
  • Receive a $50 bill credit for a WaterSense model.
  • Old toilets must be recycled.
  • When purchasing a WaterSense toilet, look for models that score 500 or more on the MaP (Maximum Performance) toilet testing (PDF 245KB). MaP Premium toilets are ultra-efficient models that should also score 500 or higher.
  • Toilets are typically the main source of water use in the home, accounting for nearly 30 percent of indoor consumption.

  • Pre-1994 toilets use 3.5 to 7 gallons per flush
  • Newer WaterSense models use 1.28 gallons per flush (gpf) or less
  • MaP Premium models use 1.06 gpf or less and are tested to perform at a very high level
  • Bathrooms that haven't been updated in the past 15 years can potentially save thousands of gallons of water a year by installing high-efficiency toilets.
