When you purchase a new toilet, be sure to recycle your old one. Fort Collins Utilities offers residential water customers up to a $50 rebate for the purchase of high-efficiency toilets.
A free recycling program for porcelain toilets and urinals is offered through a cooperative venture between the City of Fort Collins Utilities, Natural Resources and Streets departments, and ReSource, a local non-profit organization. The crushed porcelain from toilets is combined into an aggregate and used as road base.
