Low Cost Financing
Receive low-cost financing for energy efficiency, solar PV and water conservation loans – and conveniently repay the loan on your monthly utility bill.
Eligibility
Fort Collins Utilities residential electric customers are eligible for energy and solar loans, while water customers are eligible for water conservation loans. Rental properties are eligible if the owner applies.

- HVAC (furnace, A/C, whole house fan, water heater, etc)
- Insulation and air sealing
- Windows
- Solar PV
- Water service line repair or replacement

Read the loan details and apply through Energy Smart Partners. For most applications, a selected bid for the cost of the work must be included. For energy efficiency upgrades, you must follow the steps of the Home Efficiency Program.
Details
Loans range from $1,000-$15,000 and can cover up to 100% of the project cost. A $25 application fee and $150 loan settlement fee applies.
