Full Closure of South Timberline Road Scheduled for Night of Nov. 22; Pedestrian Detour Planned Through December

A short section of Timberline Road from Prospect Road south to Blackbird Drive will be closed the night of Tuesday, Nov. 22, from approximately 7 p.m.-7 a.m.
Crews will install pipe across Timberline Road to ensure continuous operation of the area’s sewer line, prior to the removal of a box structure from the original 1965 construction. The box structure restricts flow and will limit sanitary sewer capacity as the city continues to grow.
For safety during construction, the sidewalk along the west side of Timberline Road, from Prospect Road south to Drake Road will be closed from Nov. 22 through approximately Dec. 23. A pedestrian detour will be in place to accommodate foot and bike traffic.
For safety purposes, barricades and fences will be used to clearly mark areas of excavation. Please follow all detour and traffic signage.
