Fort Collins Utilities Offers Solar Rebates for New PV Systems

Fort Collins Utilities will continue to offer rebates for photovoltaic (PV) system installations in 2015. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, starting Monday, Jan. 5. Rebate reservations will be confirmed after February 2.

Rebates of $1/Watt, up to $3,000 for residential installations and $20,000 for commercial installations, are available to Utilities’ electric customers. Applications are online at https://www.fcgov.com/solar-rebates and can be submitted electronically to utilities@fcgov.com. On-bill financing also is available, https://www.fcgov.com/financing .

If requests exceed available funding, Utilities will hold a drawing in early February to award rebates. Applicants who do not receive a rebate will be placed on a wait list.
