Utilities' Home Efficiency Program Offers Ways to Save

Posted on: Jun-23-2014

Fort Collins Utilities’ electric customers are eligible to participate in the Home Efficiency Program to conserve energy and water costs and increase the comfort of their homes. Utilities also offers rebates for energy and water efficient appliance upgrades and financing options for qualified projects.

Contact Fort Collins Utilities to sign up for a Home Efficiency Audit ($60), which includes a free consultation from an Energy Advisor to help plan suggested upgrades. Then select recommended improvements, potential rebates and a participating contractor to complete the work.

Customers completing qualified projects may be eligible to receive low-cost financing through Utilities’ Home Efficiency Loan Program. This program allows customers to borrow $1,000-$15,000 and conveniently repay the loan on their monthly utility bills.

For more information on any of these opportunities or to apply, visit https://www.fcgov.com/homeefficiency email utilities@fcgov.com, call 970-221-6700 or TDD 970-224-6003.
